Translink – Gammalux Lighting Systems

With Gammalux fixtures following the outer contour of the building, the Translink project called for special product construction. Modifications were made to recessed fixtures to allow for a 3” lens regress and custom illuminated corners were required in order to follow the building perimeter. Working closely with the installing contractor we were able to obtain exact field dimensions to cut housings and lock in lamp locations at the factory. Each fixture was given a specific location identifier and then palletized in order of how the contractor would need them for installation.

Wall recessed fixtures were used to illuminate internal corridors and function as wayfinding elements highlighting entrances to washrooms, lunch and staff rooms.
